Cold EmptinessA Poem by Tina KlineSomething is burning into my head
Leaking back out all the places I've fled A certain agony perfumes the night air Of life's tragedies I am painfully aware Something is clawing across my mind Reality is just too hard to find Instead I hide in the dark licking my scars Too bad I never realized I'd gone too far Something cold should be proclaiming my dates When I started and when I finally met my fate I've gone into the barren uncaring ground With no stone it's only the wind making a lonely desolate sound © 2012 Tina KlineReviews
