Blood Queen Of Fire

Blood Queen Of Fire

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

A brief tale of a vampire.

BLOOD QUEEN OF FIRE

From somewhere deep I could hear eternity weep

I felt so blind and I felt so out of time

Walking down streets without a living heartbeat

What did I know for nothing of life did show

I cried not realizing that I had actually died

A tortured eternity stretches out before me

But life now has a sharp edge for on the living I have fed

I am a blood thirsty beast and on this blood I will feast

Yes, I have found my grave I know me no one can save

I've been marked by crimson blood and it is my only love

Hungry, hungry I am always so hungry and so thirsty

What will become of me for now from time I am free

My mortal life has faded away through history I will play

Time goes on but I'm absent from it, now where do I belong

But I cry no more and I've overcome my self horror

Soon I am loving what I have become grateful it was done

My fangs have bled the years away, I love this lethal play

Humans are so painfully weak, they are easily beat

No challenge for me here, humans are nothing to fear

I use against them their feelings, it makes for simple killings

Yes, I am a creature of the night, thriving in the moon's silver light

But the sun hurts me not by day, within its hot embrace I can slay

I am the Blood Queen of Crimson Fire, I am the vampire

Born in the dim forgotten past, I am here today, I will always last

A really enjoyable vampire tale in your poem. It is strong and sinister, full of chilling images. It made all my hair stand on end!

Thanks BCF!
Nicely written, very skillfully done. I was mesmerized by the tale of the vampire in this. Very surreal and seductive. Darkly enchanting. The imagery and descriptions used really
were spellbinding and truly made this one amazing poem!!

A very well written descriptive look at an immortal's life. Love the last line and the way you ended the poem. Very good imagery throughout and I felt as if I truly getting a glimpse at another life, through the eyes of the vampire. Very well done!
