Shifting Pain

Shifting Pain

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

"That one night that never seems to end."

"
Crimson sky at night
aurora bleeding across reality
scarlet screams
a gaping wound
the night is long
tortured dreams
lingering smoke
winter approaches
long forgotten is spring

Speaks well of the pain time presents to us. How do we keep living?
Somehow we do.
Excellent write.

Thanks!!!!!
The sky representing the pain the writer or speaker of the poem feels works brilliantly.
Much more creative than simply saying I am in pain.
Impressive work! Sometimes I do feel this way.

Thanks so much!
I never thought the sky could be painful, but your skill with words makes it seem that way. Well done.
