darkness creeps
ever closer
a vice like grip
closing, choking
asphyxiating

lack of life
lack of oxygen
gasping, hoping
forever crying

Why? Why?
uselessly asking
as the darkness
becomes an entity
enveloping
shroud like

there is no place to rest
the aching increases
dreams of death
dreams of suicide
reality kills

No, there is no grave
for the damned
