Waking Nightmare

Waking Nightmare

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

Darkness is everything.

"
Suffering - Ugly birds on a telephone wire
Never ending is their screaming voices
Their beady white eyes watching me
As I wander across a desolate landscape

Lost. Where have I gone?
Can I remember who I am?

My vision seeks but finds nothing
Just scars oozing oily pain
and I ask myself over and over again
have I only been living in vain?

This is a very creative poem from the bird watcher's point-of-view. I was inspired to write a small gift poem that you may keep as your own from the bird’s point-of-view.

Watching Bird

Suffering Ugly on the ground,
hear my screams from my high wire.
Lost, you wander round-and-round
as my eyes reflect your fire.

A very dark chilling poem. Well written I'd say.
And asking questions I've asked myself before.

A deeply chilling poem. iI think we've all felt that way at least once in our lives, or we will if we haven't yet. Captivating in its eerie horror. Very well written.

This has a strong central image, and this leads well into the reflective second stanza. A fine poem
