Voice Of A Vampire

Voice Of A Vampire

A Poem by Tina Kline

I wander here
Where blood creatures play
Victories of immortality
Cold embraces, icy breath
I stare into cold red eyes
I feel the certain chill of death

But what do I care?
I know where it is I now haunt
I partake of suicide's essence
And the blood creatures embrace me
I shiver with their deathlike cold
Soon enough it is something else I'll be

I exist in the world of ice and blood
Rivers of blood that flow
I cannot cry for I am frozen within
I am a creature of blood and I am glad
For now I no longer cry anymore
For now I am no longer endlessly sad

Thanks........
Spooky but a cool vampire poem. All they would care about is blood since they need it to survive. Why should they care about the human anymore than we care about our cows, chickens, pigs, sheep for example? Cool poem.

When I read this, I could taste the blood, I could taste the ice, I could feel the chill and feel the melancholic satisfaction of transformation. I like your style and I like this poem.
