Autumn Leaves

Autumn Leaves

A Poem by Tina Kline

Leaves falling
Frosted with autumn chill
Crimson, golden, russet and orange
Falling, twirling, and spinning
Coating the earth below

Leaves falling
The forest is white and fiery
As the morning light
Takes on the cold sunshine
Leaves glitter as they gather
Like rare jewels that nature offers

I see an analogy...people are colorful, beautiful inside and out...and yet they fall...either out of grace, or just fall out of life as their autumn approaches...and winter is just on the offing...a beautiful fall poem...

a poet's favorite season.
