Hungry Cat......

Hungry Cat......

A Poem by Tina Kline
"

.....killing the soul.

"
Swirling darkness
a misty shroud
slinking along - an ebony cat
slitted eyes
white glistening fangs
soft paws coming silently
ever closer - ever closer
into your dreams
metamorphosing into nightmares
tiny fangs sink deep
penetrating your reality
a deadly bite - a killing bite
blood spills - crimson blossoms
soaking into your bed
a killing blow
a death strike
now you lay dead
many questions
but none will know
Death is now haunting the night

Very chilling indeed. Well written poem. The horror just creeps up. Perhaps its your own pet turned demon or worse. Such a sweet kitty turned killer, whether in real life or in dreams, the ending is the dame:DEATH.

A very eerie and chilling poem. How can something so sweet and innocent looking be so lethal and evil? Awesome horror poem!
