There Is No LoveA Poem by Tina KlineShadows lingering nights are long and empty terror is like a rusty whisper always there - lurking like a bad nightmare spiders on the wall hear their scratching as they crawl there is no one to save me from the spiders hunting their webs appear cobwebs sticky and dusty the nights unfold endlessly until there is no day anymore beetles and moths flutter against my window where there is no light I don't understand but Death does She wears a seductive grin her long nailed finger points but I don't go I damn all the spiders, beetles and moths I damn Death even
though I know there is no escaping the unending night the unrelenting darkness haunting within me causing my mind to bleed black blood yes, there is no love
