Night Of October 31A Poem by Tina KlineWritten for a very dear friend.Happy Halloween Can you hear the werewolves sing? Bats flying across the moon A haunting feeling of doom Witches on broomsticks Ghouls having strange fits Vampires slink in the shadows Seeing their blood thirsty eyes glow There's dark enchantment here Yet there is nothing to fear It's Halloween night Dark souls take flight Skeletons rattling Zombies seeking something satisfying You and me we stand and watch thee you are one of the werewolf gentlemen I am one of the vampire gentlewomen Just this one night each year Our true natures are near Show our true face until dawn for in the Night Of Halloween we belong © 2015 Tina KlineReviews
