Ocean Dreams

Ocean Dreams

A Poem by Tina Kline

I walk upon the warm damp sand
I dive into the rising emerald wave
See me in the froth - See me in the foam
I sing Dolphin songs
Out into the ocean
I roam
I sail upon Albatross wings
I cry with the gulls
Yes - Even they sing
I am Sea Horse
I curl my tail around
Sea grass
I am fragile
Touch me
I break like glass
I bob upon the ocean surface
Sea Otter - Sea Lion
Eating sea food
I crack it with a stone
Then I unfurl my feathers
Leaving behind this wet land
I rise into the air currents
Lost - Alone
Star like - Ivory - I flash
Seagull silhouetted against
Angry black storm clouds
I cry once
I sparkle
Then I am gone
Not so certain
In this ocean world
Is where I belong

Love the ocean! Love the picture! A dreamy playful poem about the ocean and all the goings on in it and perhaps its not quite the dream you were after. Another awesome write!
