Countess DraculaA Poem by Tina KlineA poem in haiku form.on top the black hill there is a castle in view bats dart around it
I know who lives there I think I best not visit I hear his wolves sing
the night darkens fast I know I’ve lingered too long he stands before me
“I am Dracula feel free to call me the Count it doesn’t matter”
his eyes are fearful so is his white fanged smile I am in trouble
“yes, I’m going to bite yes, I really want your blood you can be my bride”
it didn’t feel good he drank down all of my blood now I walk the night
I live up there now in the castle with the bats I’m a vampire
I hunt the night now I am so hungry for blood I am his Countess
