UnDeadA Poem by Tina KlineA vampire poem.Mists rising beneath the sun
Hidden - twisted pale ivy Tendrils - Tortured hands reaching A fevered breathing - Lustful Emerging from the shadowy depths An ivory fanged face of Death Haunted white bloodless eyes Breathing without any breath Lurking about the graveyard Seeking her name on the tombstone Desperate for peace - desperate for rest An end to her eternal pain Flinging herself into her coffin Impaling herself with a silver cross She screams - Blood sprays - Blood spills But the Dead cannot die So weeping, she crawls back into the night She goes forth once again to kill Cursed - She must live - Punishment for her sin And the blessed peace of Death The Damned can never win © 2010 Tina KlineReviews
