Bitten

Bitten

A Poem by Tina Kline

Bitten and surrendering

giving into ecstasy

blood trickles

blood flows

moans of passion

death hovers close

the Grim Reaper has the beautiful face

of a vampire

crimson kiss

dying breath

in the vampire’s embrace

life fades

with no trace

The moon rides high

blood red in the night sky

black wings unfurl

waiting for the dead to rise

up from the grave

blood thirsty

the black wings envelop

guiding into the dark

first blood hunt

a vampire is made

a vampire is born

Wow, this is a bone chilling vampire write. I felt as if I was there and apart of the scene. Great way of setting the scene and bringing the reader into the story so well. Outstanding.
