Song Of Misery

Song Of Misery

A Poem by Tina Kline

I sing the song of misery
It is my dark painful life story
I set fire to my skin
I am scared with my sin
I try to escape my pain
I struggle forever in vain
I know Death is near
I know I do not fear
I must accept my fate
To survive is too late
Into my despair I crawl
My cries echo down the hall
There my coffin I see
I know what must be
Inside I lay down to die
I slit my wrist - It is suicide

Very painful, stark, sorrowful and so full of hopeless despair.

This poem really hurts, badly! I've been in this situation a few times. Awesome work!

Amazing poem. I know how you feel. You add no punctuation. There is no periods. There is no ends. Brilliant.

This is very sad, tragic and painful. I feel for anyone who has ever or who does feel this way. I hope this is in your past and not in your present. Excellent write!!!
