Deep Into The Forest

Deep Into The Forest

A Poem by Tina Kline

Deep in the forest
where tree branches conceal the sun
the place of dampness not warmth
its where my life has begun

In this shadowy realm
gentle and cool breezes prevail
everything is fresh and clean
in this place where I love to dwell

It is nature quiet
with no humans here
I feel safe and content
I have nothing to fear

Deep in the forest
this place is my home
and anywhere near humans
I would be foolish to roam

The artwork and poem is beautiful. I like to be deep in the woods. Enjoy the quiet and the peace. In some parts. Man's can be the hunted. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

A very impressive write speaking with deep knowing about what is safe and what is not. Wolves are very intelligent creatures. This one's going to survive. I really like this poem, I give it a 100.

This is a powerful and moving poem full of wisdom. It is always best to stay away from things we know are harmful to us. I really enjoyed this poem.

I agree, a smart creature/wolf that knows to stay away from humans and stay safe in their paradise. Awesome poem.

A smart creature indeed... with humans come progress and that leads to intruding on nature. A simple poem with such a powerful statement.
