My Werewolf

My Werewolf

A Poem by Tina Kline

He arrived in town with the New Year
So beautiful - To him I wanted to be near
He rode a Harley - Powerful - Midnight black
When I fell for him - I didn't know there was no
  turning back
The flame on the cycle's side matched the fire in his eyes
His Dark Nature - Too late did I realize
His embrace - His passion
                             Something unholy
                                      Something from Hell
But the rapture - The ecstasy -
Rose in me like an ocean's swell
I found heaven being in his arms
And when I held the Wolf there was no alarm
The moon was full -
                        - Ebony Night Birds screamed their song
Being with my Wolf lover I knew nothing was wrong
When Dawn arrived we curled up in our Wolf Den
Time was eternity -
                       There were no more "When's"
That night on his Harley we left this town behind
Of me - There was no trace
Of me - They could never find

I'm not normally a big poem fan, but I really enjoyed this one. I am a sucker for fantasy, especially one of your werewolf stories, so i was happy to read a poem about a werewolf. I loved the style of the poem. To me, at least, it is rather unusual which makes it all the better. I could also picture what was going on as I read it, which is a definite plus for a poem. Wonderful~

Very enjoyable werewolf poem. I'm pleased the werewolf didn't kill the woman he's with.

This is an exciting story of love that crosses boundaries to be together. My favorite genre is paranormal romance and you have hit that in this poem. This could easily be made into a book or story. It is detailed and had me hanging on every word. It makes me think...was she turned into a werewolf herself? Let the adventure begin. The details are great oooh what girl doesn't love a dark handsome man on a harley? Nice work.

A really nice werewolf poem, very enjoyable and a bit different from lots of werewolf writes. Different is good, I think.
