My Feline Companion

My Feline Companion

A Poem by Tina Kline

Curled -
            - round
Orange - Tan - White
Short haired -
                     - long tail
- pointed ears -
                       - a soft voice
Curled -
           - into a ball
Snug -
         - twitching in dreams
- upon my bed

I reach out a hand
Tenderly stroking
My feline companion

My cat loves attention & he gives hugs and kisses, too.
However, he starts that yowling when he's in the house for more
than 1/2 hour. He likes to be outside. He can do that here :)
I like how you wrapped your poem - and isn't it fascinating to watch
a dog or a cat 'dream' . Sweet write
