Where No Man Has Gone Before

Where No Man Has Gone Before

A Poem by Tina Kline

Out there
Out there somewhere
Where no man has gone before
Out there
Pointing out there
Beyond what you can even know
Out there somewhere
Dare you go?
Some dare
Many dare
Risking everything
For the one grand adventure
Of their life times
Out there
In the endless vastness of space
Full of the unknown that only imaginations can trace
Out there unto a new life
For once going, there is no coming back
Out there...
Out there......
Where nothing here can compare
Where no man has gone before
Until you boarded the ship and took off
I watched you leave
Going out there
I knew you'd never be back
I smiled
I shed a tear
But I knew
My turn was next
Out there
Somewhere man has gone before

This rushes forward, very exciting and full of the unknown and the chance for adventure is there for her who was left behind. This is awesome!
