Dancing With The Fallen Angels

Dancing With The Fallen Angels

A Poem by Tina Kline

It could be demoralizing
It is disorientating
Dancing with the Fallen Angels
Me - Fledgling - Myth
Seeking redemption -
                In my abandonment -
I am Superstition
I am Folklore
Committing ritualistic sacrifice
As I fling myself into -
                Celestial drama
Abandoning myself to
                 My darker ruthless side
As I become - Morally repugnant
Knowing I am alive -
                   Yet still I have died

Very vivid. It says a lot about temptation in my opinion.

Nicely crafted dark poem. It does have a bit of a chilling impact. I enjoyed reading your poem.

I like this...shows how sometimes people will chose the dark side over the light. I like this.
