Within The Mists

Within The Mists

A Poem by Tina Kline

Waiting in the mists
I feel that I am lost
I am seeking life
I'm finding only death
Time eats away at me
Time is so cruel
Time is the Ultimate Evil
The gift of life is stolen
Taken away by Time
Time is not life, it is Death
The mists swirl silently all around
I am afraid to even look
When the mists part what will I see?
Myself or Death gazing back at me

Deeply chilling. Yes, we can see for ourselves what time does to us. Nice poem.

Very stark, painful, this has a very powerful emotional impact. The imagery in this is very stunning.

This is very dark and chilling, it really pulls the reader into this very painful place. Awesome!
