Summer Breeze

Summer Breeze

A Poem by Tina Kline

Leaves fluttering in the soft breeze
Warm air heavy and sweet
Robins warbling as if in a distant dream
Children and dogs playing in the street

The sun hot overhead
Fans whirring away all afternoon
Night doesn't bring any relief
Yet gifts with a full silver moon
