Along The Ocean Beach

Along The Ocean Beach

A Poem by Tina Kline

Swirling, crashing blue and grey waves
Endlessly pounding against the shore
A herd of seals up on the sandy beach
Hear their impressive resounding roars

On the sands shiny rocks and tiny shells
Seagulls winging back and forth in the air
Hear their cries so like wild laughter
Coiling seaweed scattered everywhere

Grey ships pass on the horizon
Out in the waves sea horses ride
Washing to shore beachcomber's treasure
Discover what the ocean no longer hides
