Darkness Falls

Darkness Falls

A Poem by Tina Kline

Darkness falls silently
Gentle as a whispered sigh
Creating pools of black
Where hidden things fly

The moon casts no light
Darkness reigns supreme
Creatures dominate here
Emerging from terrifying dreams

It is all wonderful, but it is the last verse that speaks loudest to me! I can just see the creatures dominating from the terrifying dreams as darkness reigns supreme...chilling!
