Nightmare Consumption

Nightmare Consumption

A Poem by Tina Kline

Swirling in the sudden darkness
Scary creatures within shifting shadows
Hiding yet they're in plain sight
See their flickering enticing glows

Hide from them if you even can
They'll take you and they'll possess you
Don't investigate these things you see
They will totally consume those who do

Eerie and chilling. This is very well written in rhyme and rhythm. Superb job.

Nice, darkly delicious in a way. Excellent horror. Some times I feel its not so safe to be wandering the dark woods just because we just don't know what is always wandering about out there.
