The Hunters

The Hunters

A Poem by Tina Kline

Sweeping silently

through the forest

a pack of grey wolves

seeking

hunting

shadows slipping through

the ancient trees

towering into

another century

owls wing

back and forth

seeking

hunting

silently padding

through the cool dark forests

sleek and beautiful

silent and hungry

cougars

seeking

hunting
