Unhappiness

Unhappiness

A Poem by Tina Kline

Unhappiness
unfurling wide
here in the shadows
nowhere to hide

Pain consuming
taking tiny bites
too weak now to care
surrender the fight

Dark dreams haunting
where is love and hope
hidden in bitter ashes
no reason to cope

Unhappiness
today wears my face
gone are the patterns
there is just no place

Extraordinary poem! Sadness really does take "tiny bites' from us each day, doesn't it? Beautifully sad...

Very sad. A painful situation many people fall into for various reasons. It is, however, an outstanding poem on this subject.

A powerfully sad and tragic poem. The place we go when we've lost all hope.

Such a tearful poem and such familiar feelings. An excellent poem, for sure.
