VIIIA Chapter by Tkess
The snow has stopped for now, though I still smell of cold. All silent except for a candle. The flames writhe in the darkness like a woman dancing and whirling in the night. My mind heavy with her words. Her beauty sings like nightingales in the lonesome air of night. The silence is all I have, but at least it is better than nothing.
