Evil

Evil

A Poem by Tom27

A brutalist manifesto

EVIL

Of men. Of emotions.
An inevitable chain.

Purity is a blind atlas.
Clarity is perception personified.
Vulgarity is a deaf preacher.
Order - a machination willed against stygian's omnipresence.

For every need requires every purpose;
All that is whole stands in juxtaposition.
Flawed cognition stains itself in war against fallacy;
Catalysts of beyond and before.

You.

This reminds me of early Eliot in his early modernist phase minus the visual element if you weaved in some visual content to this it would be more invite for the reader to connect to the content this is just my opinion but I do see smatterings of brilliance in these lines and a love of words.

Evil often starts as a good intention.

very cerebral. you portray evil as if it is always there, incognito, until after the fact which is often the case as it stalks us. you seem to make the point that we wouldn't even know what good is without it. we open the door and let it in, often without even realizing it. insidious would best describe it.
