Vexations

Vexations

A Poem by TorenMichaels

I.
I pour out my soul
Teardrops
Like acid rain
Onto an infinite sea of faces
To whom
Many
I know not of their names

II.
Often, I call to memory
The patterns of my guilt
Like vast, wind blown sands
Aligning these oceans
As silt

III.
Who am I
To simply walk away
To escape the great undone
A victor
Knows not of his victories
But as to the different shades of ruin
