All the devotees pull the chariots from Puri temple to Gundicha temple during this festival. Every lord has sits on their respective chariot such as, Lord Jagannath comes to Nandighosha Chariot, which has 18 wheels and is 45.6 feet high Lord Balabhada to Taladhwaja that has 16 wheels and is 45 feet high and Goddess Subhadra in Darpadalana chariot that has 14 wheels and is 44.6 ft high. The colors are also different of each chariot. Every year the wooden temples like chariots are constructed newly. The idols of these three deities are also made of wood and they are religiously replaced by new ones in every 12 years. Best thing about Puri Rath Yatra is that, in this typical Hindu temple other religious people are not allowed, so it is the only time when other religious people get chance to take a view of Lords from necked eyes and even get blessing from them.

Goddess Lakshmi, the wife of Lord Jagannath, goes to Gundicha Temple to find Lords Jagannath. · Bahuda Yatra: July 14. The return journey from Gundicha temple to the Lion's Gate entrance of Jagannath Temple. The chariots are drawn in reverse order. · SunaBesha: July 15. Deities get decorated whole wth gold ornaments. · AdharPana: July 16. Offering the deities a healthy drink. · NiladriBijay: July 18. Deities are placed back inside Puri Temple.
