Is it true?

I am writing this because I had a thought. What if my love loves me back? Is it true? So to answer this question, I wrote a poem.

Is it true,

That you love someone else,

That I am not yours after all?

Is it true,

That you don’t love me,

That I have no chance?

Is it true,

That you really,

Don’t,

Love me?

That I can’t steal your heart away?

No matter how hard I try?

Even if you don’t have a chance,

With the one,

You claim,

To love?

Or is it true,

That you do love me,

And the other girl

Is a lie?

Or is it really true,

That you,

Are not the one,

For me,

And I

Am not the one,

For you?

Say it isn’t so,

Oh,

Say it isn’t so,

But what if...

My only question for you,

Is a question,

That is the hardest to answer,

Is it true?
