Life Lessons LearnedA Poem by TravieThis is a poem I wrote while I was reflecting back on my own life.
As I lay here on this sunny Spring night,
I look back on all the things of my life, Whether they are good or bad, The things in the past are set like an ancient statue. Sure, there are things I wish I could redo, But, I have come to learn over these years, We cannot live wishing we could change, For if we did, it would eat us alive. The future is here for a reason, It is the ability to learn from our mistakes, To make better of what we have done wrong, It is like a flower that dies and then re-blossoms back to life. As we are all human beings, Here on this mesmerizing place we call home, There is no such thing as a perfect life, Each and every day is a journey, a lesson on what is wrong and what is right.
