The sands of time fall
Through the hourglass so slow
My mind it cannot take it
This torment it must go
Through this stretch of time
The months seem more like years
Through all my anguish, all my pain
Through all the countless tears
But from the moment I laid eyes
I loved you from the start
And still that fire is ablaze
Even with my broken heart
