Sleeplessly HauntedA Poem by Tree Bark
Even when I try to sleep
I don't find peace. I wake up in the middle of the might Hugging my knees. Endless times this process repeats Of choking in my bed It's freezing all around me Yet. somehow I manage to sweat I try to close my eyes again But now thoughts are starting to reign I'm tossing and turning but all in vain Next thing I know, I'm back to sleep © 2011 Tree Bark |
