''We should go,'' replied Snow, the words sharp on his tongue.

''It's snowing,'' repeated Gen, ignoring him. ''It's snowing.''

''I heard. Snow in the desert isn't -- it's a bad omen. We should go.''

''But --''

''Come on.''
