The Garden of Eden

Set during the Industrial Revolution about a worker who wants to leave the factories and go back to a simple life of farming.

Away from the smoke, away I go, Away from the noise and the black snow. No more will I labour before a machine, Instead I'll work outside in the green. Leaving behind the boring monotony, I'll go and find a life of beauty, For I will once again be in freedom, Like we started, in the Garden of Eden.

Loved it! Its so simple but so beautiful. I am sure loads of people can relate to this one. There is nothing like feeling the wind in your face and the sun beating down on your back. Thats what life is all about, i think you captured your point of view very well in such a short poem. Job well done.
