My Dream

My Dream Is To Grow Wings And To Fly

Beyond The Limits Of Earth's Gravity

Above And Beyond The Endless Night Sky

Away From The Hardships Of Poverty

 

 

As I Sit On A White Cloud Looking Down

Watching The World Tear Itself To Pieces

The Sins Of The People Take The Dark Crown

The Reason Why The World Is Still Peaceless

Then I Stand Up Ready To Spread My Wings

Hoping That I Dont Look Back Anymore

Had To Disappear Before The Earth Clings

To Not Feel The Pain I Had Felt Before

 

I Only Dream Of One Wish And Demand

That People Try To Make One Last Stand

This is a step better then your last poem. Try to make your ending have more of an impact on the reader. You got my attention on the first 2 stanzas but the last stanza you have to try to blow the reader away. Regardless you have good imagery, just try to be more blunt yet vague by adding a much more deeper metaphorical thinking to your poem. Keep writing.
