The title should be self-explanatory.

Technology,
Contrary to biology,
A tool or a trap,
Dependent on an App,?
I'd rather go for a nap!,

Technology,
Spare me!,
That's why I use it rarely,
Of course to pen 🖊️ this piece,
Most techno. fans are sheep!,

Technology,
Means fewer jobs,
Less manual labour equals more slobs,
Too lazy to perform the tasks of days yonder,

Modern youth make easy plunder,
For the tech. giants and company machines,
Bringing original thought to its knees,
High prices to pay for lives of ease..?

I admit that this is a cynical piece, and that technology has many positive sides to it too.

Coping with change is a b***h, isn't it? Writing poetry about the things that have changed since youth that irritate and discombobulate - these are choice inks for the writer's pen. At some point, we may imagine venerable ancestors lamenting the lack of flint-napping skills of a later generation. As long as humans consider such things there should be no shortage of conspiratorial fodder, eh? Oh, the poem ... interesting and a suscinct, tasty morsel. Thank you, Twilight.
