A Picture of Beauty

A Picture of Beauty

A Poem by Twilight

In my mind,

I never find,

a greater beauty,

than womankind,

With some ladies,

it's their mere words,

whilst with others,

the grace of birds,

Elegant and kind,

far sweeter than wine,

blonde or brunette,

I shall never forget,

That picture of beauty,

it is my duty,

to love and cherish,

never embellish,

A woman's virtue,

is a beauteous treasure,

and her desire for love,

is beyond measure.

The grace of birds.
They tend to leave their markings on my windshield.

Kidding aside, I was always taught to count syllables when rhyming, but this is far too smooth to do that. Each line flows into the next and the meaning is spot on for any romantic.

Excellent poem.

Well, thank you, I feel flattered and as I'm reading the previous comments.. I guess others do too. I'm a sucker for rhymes, especially for simple and minimalistic wording, yet on point in its own way.

Haha, very sweetly said.
If only I could always be as virtuous as this at all times...*smile*

Good to know!
The way you view women is beyond any words to describe it. WOW!!
How should a woman go about reviewing such a piece... It's beautiful!

No woman is perfect but you summed up 97.9999999% of women with this stanza
A woman's virtue,
is a beauteous treasure,
and her desire for love,
is beyond measure.

I really had no idea men noticed just how deep a womans love is... but you said it...you saw it!! and that my friend, is the real beauty in this piece! I'm keeping this! Thank you
