Those Eyes

A sad piece, was bored so i wrote this. Took about 5 minutes to write.

Alone in this melancholy world
Battered by the waves of judgement
I feel the glare of penetrating eyes
Piercing my mind and soul
Crippling my thoughts
I read your face like a book
Burning unwanted thoughts into my mind
Why do you have to be so cruel
Why do you have to make me feel like this
 
I try to bury my head in the sand
Hoping for these thoughts to fade
Crushed beneath the weight of society
Squeezing the air from my lungs
I hide myself behind this curtain
Hoping for you to go away
Waiting for this nightmare to end
Waiting...
Waiting...
Will it ever end?
