Poodle-do-itA Poem by UC PoikaA narrative sonnet about dogs and their sniffers.Look at the flowers Poodle-do-it not that! They say dogs have a sense of smell but no sense For they could smell wild lavender but drat They smell a pile the potbellied pig vents Poodle-do-it would you like to sniff a peach? Oh why would anyone leave that in the street? Here, here, sniff the damn peach at least it's in reach! Underwear? Is your nose that indiscreet? I will not! I can not put up this such misuse It says here in the paper dear your nose Can smell four times as well as mine; such abuse! If you keep it up we will not bury you But wait four days and let your friends smell you in two! © 2014 UC Poika |
