Being with You

Shouting at me your body said, "Speak."
Talking to you my peaceful place warmed
The sun shone no longer hidden or weak
And as clouds made way for it a clear day formed
As sweet perfume aloft smelled just like you
And your shoulder touched  my arm's flesh
A shock shot cautiously all through me too
As we memorized it while it was fresh . . .
Thinking of you when the time was bored
As I lingered you walked through my every daze
And when I hugged my pillow my mind roared
Meeting your eyes I said,"Bye," as in praise.
Even now when the room laughs it has set us free
Just to be together and to together just be!
