Confession #77

Confession #77

A Poem by eli mercuree rue

I once thought
Fireflies and Fences were just the
Urban mans way to
Continue calling us B*****s as we soaked in the
Kaleidoscope pits of his DickLeeee Dimension
Burning us with disgust
In our own self-raped
Trust funds we
Confided in each other, and he was
Hoping, that like the fireflies, when we became
Engulfed in darkness we would
Surrender and lock ourselves away in his fences.

I love this . .. . huge metaphors. Bravo! It's awesome. Right now my brain is fried in heat but I love this poem!

Fences and fireflies . . . it could be a song . . .
It's so deep and enigmatic. I just love the aura of this poem!

Keep it up!

Another great piece. I love this style of work and it is rare you find people who do it well. So keep up the work cause its nice to have new and inspiring things to read - Espicially ones with the true deep meanings that you imbue into yours
