The deadline looms--
Due tomorrow afternoon
You think and stagger at what to write

Soon enough,
procrastination caught the better of your eye.
As the next day dawns,
you realize it passed you by.
Leaving you hopelessly tapping your keyboard till midnight.

As relentless as you may be,
time's sand is absolute.
Your mind is rapid--no,
rampant--for your major grade.

Your pursuit is over.
You submit your tribute of pain…
