OblivionA Story by UndeadjemI wrote this in my Creative Writing class for our Flash Fiction assignment.
“I don’t know how to deal with you anymore!” She yelled from the bathroom.
I didn’t know what to say. My heart was in my stomach. Tears swelled on the lids of my eyes. Those haunting words corrupted my appetite. I could feel the fire blaze in her from being so upset and affected by my actions; it was devastating. I knew I was a goner. My palms were clammy, my head throbbed with pictures of an inevitable future without her. All I could do was choke on my words. Language was the problem here, and nothing could describe how sorry I felt. I’ll never leave the toilet seat up again. © 2015 Undeadjem |
