Self Evident

Red where I live and where I sleep
all I have in my head.  close my eyes thats all I see
in the light of day.

blue.  sadness of memories, one mistake
and what came before seems frozen in ice worthless
of any meaning for my eyes to pursue.

more than any patience,

 the knowledge of change.

 What it took to forge instruction for a life
that yields something new.

whatever self respect, whatever knowledge, whatever self worth became
self evident.
