The chinese zodiac of the Dragon is in reference to an important year cosmologically and has been made to represent a dragon when in fact its a reference to heaven. So the Dragon has commandeered the representation of the year. Has the old serpent or the devil not have tried to claim what is not his.

not to say its the only important year. They all are.

Because every year is important.

a person born under this sign or year should look to a turtle as self referential. Being of actual health to the virtues one should keep and their attitudes about life, rather comparing themselves to a dragon, which is a overly grandiose and unwise comparison.

People under this sign have great potential.

but will miss out on what it means to have a life of tempering and disciplining that potential being made to think of themselves somehow special, and somehow of major importance when really the best quality of this person is shown in meekness, patience, and moderation.

Also its not alright that people who consider this astrological depiction of years or people who are born of the year of, 

consider themselves somehow comparable to an animal, as people are much more complex than animals.

We would not be living in a healthy society if we considered ourselves to be a boar or a dog or a goat or a rat or a ox or a monkey or a tiger or a rooster or a cat or any animal.

Much less a dragon.
