Sleepless nights,
My thoughts drifting towards you,
The days seem long,
The nights that won't end,
Though I want them to.

Your face in my dreams,
Your voice in my head,
Won't they just go away,
Forever they will fade,
Alone in my bed.

The love I still have for you,
Taking control over me,
I'm slowly getting better,
But please take all the pain away,
So I can be free.

My chest feels empty,
Like I'm missing a piece of a puzzle,
Never to be found, never to be completed,
These lonely nights without you,
Make me die a little inside,
I guess we're through.

So it's the end,
But I'll always be here,
To hold you when you fall,
Forever as a friend,
I'll never walk away,
Never turn my back,
Here to stay till my heart stops.
