Stuck

Im Stuck... *sad*

Again...

Again, again, again...

It keeps happening

over and over

I feel like screaming!

and yet I don't...

At the same

I seek silence and solitude

away from them.

But they don't care;

They don't understand.

I am forever trapped

by those who assume.

They assume they know me...

They assume they see me...

They see glass,

Glass and they do not bother

to look through it!

Even if it's open just for them.

They never see...

They never know...

So they guess;

So they assume;

Again...

Again, again, again...

It keeps happening

I feel like screaming!

I liked this. The drip, drip, drip of others expectations...Sisyphus...societal constraints. Only thing I might fool around with...

...I liked the imagery, but the flow didn't fit for me with the rest of the poem. It caused me to pause and reread. JMHO.

I disagree with there being an issue with the flow of the piece. I began reading it with a tone of frustration. The tone evolved though, as I read. A sadness crept into the flow; and it with the frustration set a perfect pace in my usually never humble opinion.
